Five nos. of School level eye camp were organised at Soro, Bhograi Block, Bahanaga Blocks in the district of Balasore with support of District Blindness control society . About 330 no. of children have got opportunity to check up their eyes and got necessary eye care services.
Full Gospel Trust , New Delhi has supported awareness programme on HIV/AIDS among the Migrants . Wall painting , IEC Stall ,Meeting & Street Play had been organized for the community at Soro, Jaleswar Block . Condom outlet has been established with consultation of Dhaba owner & Mahila Mondals to promote safe sex practices. IEC & Health Check up Camp at 5 blocks of Balasore District . Camp has been organized with local health providers like ASHA,AWW and PRI members at identified Migrated Villages. Free Medicines has provided by experienced Doctors. Apart from that HIV Blood Test also done at Camp premises . About 17000 Villagers benefited by this programme.
Punaruthan has been implementing Urban Slum Health project at 16 no. of Urban Slums and providing Reproductive Child services through Outdoor Patient Treatment at Urban Centre and Out reach services with supported by NRHM,Odisha. Facilitate Immunisation Camp, organized Health & Nutrition Day,RTI/STI Screening & Treatment Camp,Distributed Contraceptives through setting up Community Based Depo, Adolescent Health Care through Balika Mondals, Outreach Health Camp and Community sensitization on Sanitation ,environment Cleanliness and adopting two child norm are the major activity under Urban Slum Health project. Coverage population is 25840 among 4010 household.
