Community process activities are running with support of NHM,Govt. of Orissa at 16 no. of Slums uder Balasore Municipality area in the District of Balasore, Orissa.Mahila Arogya Samiti formation and Training, Ward Kalyan Samiti Formation and Training,Maping, Ward Health plan preparation and Facilitate existing Govt. Health programme for Urban Slum Dwellers are the major activities of Community Process activities.
Punaruthan is running Urban Primary Health Centre at Sahadevkhunta for slum dwellers with coverage population of 50470.Outdoor services with Specialist ,Outreach Health activities are the major activities of UPHC. Opening time is morning 8 to 11am and evening is 5pm to 8 pm.
Punaruthan has organized awareness meeting in different blocks on Heat Stroke Disorder,Legal Aid ,Family issue for community empowerment with involvement of PRI Members,Local Youth Club etc. PVo has running Jallachhatra at different areas of 5 no. of Blocks
Punaruthan has organized residential training programme for ASHA in module 6 & 7 at PVO Training Center located at SORO, Balasore. About 750 ASHA successfully trained from Soro,Khaira,Simulia,Oupada,Bahanaga Block supported by NHM,Odisha
